The Australian Government Child Care Subsidy makes early education and learning more affordable for Australian Families. After enrolling at Only Early Learning Centre, two things will determine a families level of Child Care Subsidy.

1. Combined Family Income

Each families annual income will determine the percentage of subsidy they are eligible for. You can estimate your percentage of subsidy using the below guidelines.

Family Income                                    CCS%

$66,958                                                 85%

$66,958 – $171,958                             Subsidy reduces 1% for every $3,000 over $66,958

$171,958 – $251,248                           50%

$251,248 – $341,248                          Subsidy reduces 1% for every $3,000 over $251,248

$341,248 – 351,248                             20%

$351,248+                                            0%

2. Activity Level of Parents

The number of subsidised care hours a family has access to is determined by an Activity Test. The more activity hours, the more hours of subsidised care a family has access to. The amount of subsidised hours will be determined by the parent with the least amount of activity hours. The maximum amount of hours is 100 per fortnight.

Hours of Activity (Per Fortnight)                 Maximum number of hours of subsidy (Per Fortnight)

8 – 16 Hours                                                              36 Hours

16 – 48 Hours                                                            72 Hours
